What may be collected

If you allow analytics, Umami records aggregated page visits, entry and exit pages, approximate country/region/city, referrer and traffic source, device category, operating system, browser, visit duration, downloads, external-link clicks, project and music visits, audio playback, searches and 404 pages.

Raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, precise location, advertising identifiers and persistent visitor profiles are not stored. Screen resolution and language are intentionally not collected. Search values are limited to 80 characters; values that resemble email addresses, phone numbers or URLs are redacted.

Why

The information is used only to understand how people discover the work, which projects and recordings are useful, and whether the site is functioning well. It is never sold or used for advertising.

Consent and withdrawal

Your choice is stored locally in this browser with a policy version and timestamp. It is not an advertising cookie. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the footer link. Withdrawal stops future analytics immediately and reloads the page to remove provider listeners. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep analytics disabled.

Provider and retention

Umami Cloud is the intended provider, using its EU region. It uses no analytics cookies or cross-site tracking and reports anonymous statistics. A rotating, site-specific session calculation supports aggregate visits without creating an advertising identity. Under this site’s policy, analytics are kept for no longer than 24 months and can be deleted from the provider account.

Technically necessary server logs and the local consent preference may remain as required for security and operation. No personal data is sold and no advertising network receives information from this website.
